🦁Welcome to the Lion’s Gate Portal.💫

I don’t always resonate with the “portals” much of the spiritual community teaches and shares (get ready for the fiery upcoming podcast episode on this one), but Lion’s Gate is a portal I palpably feel each year. I didn’t even realize how much I felt it until I was aware of its energy and noticed the alignment in retrospect.

There have been repeated events that coincide with this time frame almost annually for me, particularly involving the physical body. I mostly feel energized and stretch into more vibrant health, but it’s also not a coincidence that I had sepsis during Lion’s Gate 8 years ago.

Oh, look at that — 8/8 and this is 8 years for me. I’m just realizing that as I’m typing this, whew! And 2025 is a 9-year, which is the end of old cycles. The feelings that are arising right now…and I was just crying in Washington state after the biggest hike of my life because of how resilient and strong my body is now!

Anyway, thank you for letting me have a moment. I digress. Bottom line — I believe in the Lion’s Gate energy. Why?👇

This portal opened on 7/28 and peaks on 8/8. 8/8 is when the Earth aligns directly with the sun and the star Sirius.

✨Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky, so when all of these elements are aligned, there is an immense amount of light hitting the planet.

My favorite information about the Sirius star is from the Ancient Egyptians. The Ancient Egyptians put a lot of stock in the Sirius star, as it comes into direct alignment with the Pyramid of Giza during the Lion’s Gate Portal.

When Sirius would start to rise above Egypt, the Nile River would flood each year. This flooding provided the Egyptians with extremely fertile land, allowing them to nourish their whole community.

They saw it as a very prosperous time, and the alignment of the Sirius star, sun, and Earth has consistently demonstrated good fortune for those who choose to open to the natural flow of their soul desires!

This is why the Lion’s Gate Portal has such powerful energy. Just like the Egyptians, Lion’s Gate marks the time for us to plant seeds of our desires and watch them grow.

It’s beautiful energy to cultivate, but be gentle on your body during this time. Although it’s very activating energy, those elements of your mind and body that don’t serve who you’re becoming will fall away.

This can feel uncomfortable, but it’s honestly an exciting time, and you’re much less likely to shy away from making big moves. There’s more light on the planet at large, so opportunity is widely magnified.

👉🏻 It can feel uncomfortable because:

1) It’s lighting up areas that have been emotionally in the dark (which is good to acknowledge and/or release)

2) The physical body is integrating a ton of energy at once, resulting in some physical symptoms

3) There’s so much momentum that you can feel elated and overwhelmed with energy at the same time.

Cultivate this energy by:

• Getting clear on, and decisive with, your soul-led desires.
• Honoring yourself by taking a step further toward these desires, whether it’s imagining a plan or putting things into action. Your 3D manifestations will evolve much more rapidly during this time. The energy is on your side — you force less and allow more because you have this wave behind you.
• Moving your body, allowing dormant energy to awaken and release, while also titrating excitement for the new energy entering your field. Even if you experience some of the discomfort mentioned above, recognize it as just energy and allow it to move. Use the breath, nature, patience, and grace, detaching from the narratives of the mind.
• Connecting with those who deeply and consistently encourage you. Allow yourself to be loved on during this time! You deserve it, and it feels so good.
• Meditating like a champ or diving deeper into spiritual practices. The expanded light allows access to more profound expansion, healing, and self-awareness. 

Lion’s Gate is my favorite time of year energetically, with so much momentum and clarity. Infinite possibility is being illuminated (with all of these bright stars coinciding)! You will feel the momentum if you allow it in; it’s truly waiting at the gate right now.

I have made a vow to receive on Lion’s Gate each year, heading to magical locations with magical humans so I can soak it in and allow Spirit to open me. This year, I’m going to Mount Shasta for Lion’s Gate! Stay tuned for those updates and energetic transmissions.
